Luxor Historic Winter Palace 5 star Hotel built 1886 Spent peaceful days at this historic hotel and enjoyed delicious food in its Resturant’s the International and the French. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Probably staff in all areas. Speedy checkin and check out. The hotel accounting system needs review. To enjoy my Accor loyalty discounts I have had to pay for each meal separately, and on checking out I discovered mistakes in double charging. It was corrected immediately. I hope that the accounting staff follow the same accounting procedures used in Novotel, Sofitel and Movenpick hotels to reduce the need of multiple payments.

An amazing place with outstanding hospitality. My husband & I enjoyed St.Valentine's weekend at this hotel. Delicious food is at every restaurant : from substantial breakfast to garbed lunch and a large carte dinner. Sofitel has a big green park.with shadow and scent of flowers. We enjoyed a swimming pool with +29 water temperature & enough space for sun bathing. True international community, polite and pleasant.

I had the worst time of my vacation in this place. I booked a room with balcony and garden view in the Pavillon Winter but because of Corona they "upgraded" me into the main building.What I got was a room (no. 358) with view onto a facility building with loud vents on its roof. Because the windows are older than the Pharaos they have no noise reduction. I always woke up in the middle of the night because of that.After complaining they gave me room no. 329. There I can hear the street noise all the night. In both rooms the carpets are dirty and chairs have stints on them.Both rooms had no balcony.Positive to mention is the nice staff, the pool and garden and the breakfast.

Beautiful hotel with a long history-live piano at the bar in the evening. Live harp during dinner.. very big rooms.. amazing pool and garden area. Could have a little renovation here and there though...anyway - highly recommended

Amazing stay. The staff are the gold standard when it comes to service and the Garden View Luxury room was great. The team even prepared flowers as a special gift for our arrival. The Winter Palace is highly recommended and worth the price to feel like minor royalty at a little oasis in between crazy city excursions and sightseeing. Only minor feedback, need to work on the cocktails to make them more fitting to the location.

Fuimos a cenar para ver el hotel por dentro, la comida aburrida, con guarnición de verduras sin saltear, solo cocidas y sin sal...Deberían reconsiderar la carta, porque servir comida europea e insulsa no nos gusta a los turistas, queremos comer comida del país!! Y además caro, 30€ el cubierto.El servicio de camareros bueno pero no volveré.

Hotel simplesmente maravilhoso, atendimento nota 10, muito atenciosos em todos os detalhes, café da manhã farto, diverso e delicioso, e no último dia que não conseguiríamos pegar o café por conta do horário, eles fizeram uma caixa box para cada pessoa repleta de itens e pudemos comer com calma no aeroporto. A localização também é excelente, próximo ao templo de luxor, embarcações pelo Rio Nilo, museu, restaurantes e lojas. O hotel também tem um visual encantador, parecia um sonho, saímos encantados!

Staff súper fríendly y atentos. Habitaciones amplias, camas muy cómodas y si tienes suerte con vistas. Un jardín que es un oasis muy bien cuidado con árboles plantados algunos hace mucho tiempo etiquetados para que sepas cuándo. Zona de piscina amplia con bar y restaurante. El hotel está muy bien ubicado para moverse por Luxor sin problema.
