Mario is a totally a credit and if I was ever too run a hotel I'd want a Mario his excellent in every way you couldn't find better if you tried 5 stars don't warrant this person excellent with staff customers keeps things flowing and definitely a motivator with his staff well done Mario you are a true star and gentleman

Lovely hotel. However don't be misled by the past reviews about the full English breakfast. While the rose and crown is still under the OYO umbrella. Toast and cereal is the best you will get.

The room was well kept, my partner myself and our baby really enjoyed the stay we had. Lovely, helpful, enthusiastic, kind, caring and attentive staff. We originally booked for two night and extended our stay for a further two nights. Are thoughts as soon as we entered oh posh which it is but although it’s posh the staff are so lovely and cater to your needs with a lovely calm caring attitude. We are very please with the outcome of our stay and will definitely be using this hotel again. It’s bang in the centre of all the shops and pleanty of activists to do around the area. Very pleased.

Really love this hotel. It's like a large crooked house due to parts of it being over 400 years old. Crooked stairs, sloping floors. It's really quirky and we love it. It's a shame it's in the centre of Wisbech so you will see and hear noisy locals! However, the breakfast is good and the staff are all lovely. Bed is comfortable and shower is good. Big white fluffy towels too. We had a wonderful meal one evening in their pretty restaurant and Mario was very pleasant and attentive. We will definitely return.

Very pleased with our stay. Requested early check-in, I mean 10am arrival. We were greeted by friendly receptionist, who not only checked us in early with a smile but also upgraded due to our booked room not being ready. The room was spacious and well equipped with all necessary essentials. Young staff at breakfast was fast & efficient in serving delicious English breakfast. Enjoyed our stay and will recommend.
