Original: I don’t know if I will rate this hotel five stars. We stayed here for 13 days so it’s enough to observe that their housekeeping is so inconsistent.. Once, they left the balcony door open and some insects came in, twice they didn’t even clean our room. I was sure I left the service light on for both times. They hardly replace the toiletries unless you ask for it. Most do but some of the valet don’t even offer you water when you pick up your car. They don’t have an ice maker and they only provide two small bottles of water, one with gas and one without for two people staying in the room. This kind of service is not really 5-star level. The location is quiet but it’s right next to a park that’s frequented by mixed types of crowd. They do have a high-speed internet and quiet rooms. I wish I picked a hotel that’s closer to Marienplatz or Odeonsplatz. I think that’s a better choice.
Follow up: 5/25 They addressed our issues and did an excellent job following up on it. The guest relations manager, Xiao Yi (unsure of the correct spelling) did a phenomenal job connecting with us and understanding what happened. Now hers is a five-star service, IMO. Thank you for allowing us to leave Munich with joy—the same way we arrived.

Teria sido uma estadia de 5/5 se o hotel tivesse devolvido uma das minhas camisas que foi roubada do meu quarto.Verdadeiramente decepcionado com o fato de que bens pessoais seriam roubados em um hotel tão prestigioso e o atendimento ao cliente de baixa qualidade recebido ao tentar resolver o assunto. Dizer aos clientes que "não é problema do hotel o que falta" é realmente uma pena, dados os altos padrões de qualidade que a cadeia Charles tenta manter.

Habría sido una estadía de 5/5 si el hotel me hubiera devuelto una de mis camisas que me robaron de mi habitación.Verdaderamente decepcionado por el hecho de que la propiedad personal fuera robada en un hotel tan prestigioso y la atención al cliente de baja calidad recibida al tratar de resolver el asunto. Decir a los clientes que "no es problema del hotel lo que se pierde" es realmente una pena dados los altos estándares de calidad que la cadena Charles intenta mantener.

It would have been a 5/5 stay if the hotel would have returned one of my shirts which was stolen from my room.
Truly disappointed by the fact that personal property would be stolen in such a prestigious hotel and the low-quality customer care received when trying to resolve the matter. Telling customers "it is not the Hotel's problem what goes missing" is truly a shame given the high-quality standards The Charles chain tries to maintain.

Nice quartos grandes, com banheira e chuveiro. As toalhas são trocadas à noite e o quarto é bem organizado. Um menos, pena que não servem bebidas na biblioteca.

I really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend the hotel.
Some highlights. 1) The room was very spacious and had an armchair, a loveseat, and a small table. The bed needed its own zipcode. On top of that there was enough space on the floor to do yoga. 2) The service was impeccable. I felt welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay and they had thoughtful little touches that made the stay extra special. 3) The location is hard to beat. It's ~3 min walk from the main station and 10 min stroll away from Marienplatz. It's also right across the old botanical garden so there's plenty of greenery around.
10/10 would definitely stay here again.

Passamos um grande dia no spa e depois tivemos uma excelente refeição no bar. A massagem é uma das melhores que já tivemos. O alto preço é absolutamente justificado. Sentindo-se mimado e relaxado depois de um dia maravilhoso no Charles Hotel!! Nós voltaremos!!

the hotel is beautiful, but the staff are unprepared and rude... I stayed for 2 days and only had problems, they doubled my card without my authorization, the lady at the reception was very arrogant with me, it was the last time I stay at this hotel .bad experience…

I can only comment about the spa here. In my opinion the best spa in Munich. Excellent staff, great treatments and great facilities. The sauna, steam room, the pool and really luxurious towels and robes. Been coming here for years and love it. Always come back for a day at the spa.

I have never experienced the level of service and friendliness as I have at The Charles in Munich. From the reception to the wait staff to room service and quality and cleanliness of the room were exceptional. I injured my ankle during my stay and the hotel staff helped me from getting a doctor to come over in a couple of hours, sending a taxi to get my medication and find me crutches to use during the stay. Each and every one of the staff went out of the way to make my remaining stay comfortable including sendingmacaroons with a handwritten get well done. Truly exceptional service and genuinely great people.

I was just in the hotel for one night with a great experience. Wonderful interior, spacious rooms, super friendly and professional staff. My room was next to the elevators and - totally unexpected - it was completely silent. So all in all wonderful; next time I hope I can also try the Spa and restaurants.

El hotel está realmente bien, y el personal no puede ser mejor. Quiero resaltar el trato recibido por uno de los camareros (un camarero colombiano) que nos atendió en un evento que celebramos en el hotel, el trato fue exquisito: constantemente pendiente, con una sonrisa y muy muy profesional.

Me encantó este hotel, la atención es excelente desde el momento que llegas a registrarte. Habitaciones espaciosas y limpias con vista a la calle y un ventanal o balcón según elijas. Cuenta con piscina y un gimnasio pequeño, pero funcional. Muy atento y amable el personal. Está en una zona muy céntrica para caminar y turistear, llegas a Marien Platz caminando pocos minutos y tienes a una cuadra la estación de metro y a unas 3 cuadras la estación central.
