Hotel muito antiquado. A equipe é absolutamente incrível, mas o hotel precisa de grandes atualizações. Nós ainda gostamos da experiência de ambiente 60s, mas não foi o melhor de longe. A banheira encheu com três polegadas de água enquanto toma banho como os drenos são todos super lentos. Os plugues foram todos soltos e metade nem sequer segurar meu carregador de telefone.
Localização é conveniente para o French Quarter e Market. Fácil a pé para refeições e opções de vida noturna. Os quartos são limpos e confortáveis, mas admito que são antigos e poderia ser actualizado sem muito esforço. Vistas a fer e fantásticas. Bar e área da piscina são muito agradáveis. A equipe foi amistosa e atenciosa. Em comparação com outras opções de área para a minha visita, sinto que o meu dinheiro foi mais longe aqui.
Assim que entrei, o forte cheiro de mofo estava no saguão. Eu fui avisado por outros comentários, por isso não me incomodou muito. O quarto estava muito quente. A sala de banho precisa de uma atualização muito ruim, assim como o carpete da sala - que é preto com um toque de marrom. O melhor deste hotel é a localização, no centro do French Quarter, perto de muitos locais populares. Cama é confortável e café-da-manhã é delicioso. Infelizmente nós temos um quarto sombrio, grande e bastante mas nenhum charme nada. O pior foi a equipe me deu uma sensação de indesejável: a recepção quando entramos em não tinha sequer indício de sorriso e um garçom que conversou calorosamente a cada cliente, mas deu-me uma atitude severa fria. Outras pessoas da recepção foram um pouco melhor. Talvez fosse o feriado de Ação de Graças, eles prefeririam estar em casa? Ou eles são apenas o jeito que eles são.
Você não consegue vencer a localização! Adorável intimista bar do hotel. Nice café-da-manhã no café com vista para a piscina e para o pátio. Todos os funcionários foram simpáticos e prestativos. Serviço excepcional durante toda a nossa estadia de 3 noites. É um hotel antigo pitoresco e os banheiros poderia usar alguma atualização séria, mas não estragou a nossa estadia. Nós com certeza ficaríamos aqui novamente.

Boa proximidade ao bairro francês, mas muito mais tranquila. Hotel é encantador, com uma sensação NOLA vintage. O quarto em que ficamos poderia usar alguma atualização, parecia que não tinha sido tocado em 40 anos. Ótima piscina e pátio e a equipe foi excelente. Ficaria lá novamente.
Eu estava animado, no check-in, porque o hotel parece perfeito visto da rua. A senhora da recepção foi amigável e rápida. Fiquei um pouco decepcionado, no elevador, com o cheiro de óleo do motor e o estado do elevador velho e trêmulo. Mas me senti roubado quando entrei na sala. A geladeira fica dentro do banheiro, a meio metro do vaso sanitário, o que enferrujou a porta da geladeira. A tampa do vaso sanitário está quebrada. As portas da varanda não levam a lugar nenhum, porque a varanda está apodrecida; o que você pode dizer pelo chão ser macio e podre sob as portas. O "City View" é dos telhados de apartamentos próximos, mais altos. A melhor parte da "vista da cidade" era o homem, de cueca e fora de forma, em sua varanda do outro lado da rua. A informação do Google, para o hotel, diz que eles têm café da manhã grátis, o que NÃO TEM. O barman na noite de sábado foi maravilhoso! Eu não queria uma bebida, então ela me fez um bule de café, e ela era a melhor. No domingo à noite, o barman apontou para um bule, com café queimado no fundo, e disse: "Está aí desde as 2, mas você pode ficar com ele se quiser." O homem na mesa hoje é abrupto e inútil. As camas não são premium! É um colchão de molas interno com uma década, com cobertores surrados e um edredom feio. Dois travesseiros são macios, mas estranhamente irregulares, e o terceiro foi preenchido com quikrete. Reservei este hotel, mesmo depois de ler comentários que me disseram o que esperar, porque em todos os lugares recebe alguns comentários ruins de difícil para agradar as pessoas. Mas a única crítica negativa que eu não vi prova, até agora, é a sobre baratas. Ainda não vi um bug, mas não ficaria chocado se isso mudasse. Eu poderia dizer "economize seu dinheiro!" Ou "reservar um hostil seria melhor!" Mas essas críticas não me impediram; então, em vez disso, direi apenas Quando você chegar aqui, e será uma decepção inacreditável ... Não se sinta mal, você não está sozinho.
Belo hotel histórico em uma excelente localização no French Quarter, a poucos minutos a pé da Bourbon Street e uma caminhada ainda mais perto da maravilhosa Frenchman Street. A equipe foram muito simpática e atenciosa. Os quartos eram mais antigos em estilo, mas eu gostei que sobre eles e eles foram mantidos muito limpo. Os elevadores foram um pouco arrepiante e chia e cheirava um pouco mofo. O chuveiro poderia ter tido um pouco mais pressão da água, mas não foi o pior. O pátio e a piscina foram nice e limpos. O café da manhã era bom assim como as bebidas. O Hurricane drinque foi a melhor em nosso toda a viagem (e tentámos muito alguns diferentes!) Eu altamente recomendar para quem quer old school peculiaridade do French Quarter.

Good proximity to the French Quarter, but much quieter area. Hotel is charming with a vintage NOLA feel. The room we stayed in could use some updating, it looked as though it hadn't been touched in 40 years. Nice pool and courtyard and the staff were excellent. Would stay there again.
Beautiful, historic hotel in a great location in the French Quarter, just a few minute walk to Bourbon Street and an even closer walk to the wonderful Frenchman Street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were older in style, but I liked that about them and they were kept very clean. The elevators were a bit creepy and creaky and smelled a bit moldy. The shower could have had a bit more water pressure but it wasn't the worst. The courtyard and pool were nice and clean. The breakfast was good as were the drinks. The Hurricane drink was the best we had on our entire trip (and we tried quite a few different ones!) I would highly recommend for anyone who wants old school quaintness of the French Quarter.
I was excited, at check in, because the hotel looks perfect from the street. The lady at the desk was friendly and quick. I was a little disappointed, in the elevator, by the smell of motor oil and the state of the old shaky elevator. But I felt robbed when I walked into the room. The refrigerator is inside the bathroom, two feet from the toilet, which has caused the refrigerator door to rust.The toilet lid is broken. The balcony doors go nowhere, because the balcony has rotted away; which you can tell from the floor being soft and rotted under the doors. The "City View" is of the roofs of nearby, taller apartments. The best part of the "city view" was the man, in his underwear while out of shape, on his balcony across the street. The Google information, for the hotel, says they have free breakfast, which they DO NOT. The bartender on Saturday night was wonderful! I didn't want a drink so she made me a pot of coffee, and she was the best. On Sunday night, the male bartender pointed to a pot, with coffee burned into the bottom, and said "That's been there since 2, but you can have it if you want it." The man at the desk today is abrupt and unhelpful. The beds are not premium bedding! It's a decade old, inner spring mattress, with ratty blankets and an ugly comforter. Two pillows are soft but oddly lumpy, and the third has been filled with quikrete. I booked this hotel, even after reading reviews that told me what to expect, because everywhere gets a few bad reviews from hard to please people. But the only bad review that I haven't seen proof of, so far, is the one about roaches. I haven't seen a bug, yet, but I wouldn't be shocked at all if that changes. I could say "save your money!" Or "booking a hostile would be better!" But those reviews didn't stop me; so instead I'll just say When you get here, and it's disappointing beyond belief... Don't feel bad, you're not alone.

Nice boutique hotel. Becky at the desk was GREAT,,so helpful! Be aware only 1 car per room is allowed in the gated parking lot. There is a price per night to park. Good selection for breakfast but it is not included with your room. For the price you pay, you would think something would be included!

Very dated hotel. The staff is absolutely amazing, but the hotel needs big upgrades. We still enjoyed the 60s ambiance experience, but it wasn't the best by far. The tub filled with three inches of water while showering as the drains are all super slow. The plugs were all scarily loose and half wouldn't even hold my phone charger.
You can't beat the location! Lovely intimate hotel bar.Nice breakfast in the cafe overlooking the pool and courtyard. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Exceptional service throughout our 3 night stay. It's a quaint old hotel and the bathrooms could use some serious updating, but it didn't spoil our stay.We would definitely stay here again.
As soon as I walked in, strong mildew smell was in the lobby. I was warned by other reviews, so it didn’t bother me much. Room was too hot. Bath room needs a update very very badly as well as the carpet in the room— which it’s black with a hint of brown. Best of this hotel is location, at center of French Quarter, close to many popular sites. Bed is comfortable, and breakfast is delicious. Unfortunately we got a bleak room, large and quite but no charm at all. The worst was the staff gave me a feeling of unwelcome: the front desk when we walked in had not even hint of smile and a waiter who chatted warmly to every customer, but gave me a cold stern attitude . Other front desk persons were slightly better. Maybe it was the Thanksgiving holiday, they’d rather be home? Or they’re just the way they they are.
Location is convenient to the French Quarter and Market. Easy walking to dining and nightlife options. Rooms are clean and comfortable but I admit are dated and could be updated without too much effort. Views a fer e fantastic. Bar and pool area are very enjoyable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Compared to other area options for my visit, I feel my money went farther here.
Excellent location in French Quarter and almost everything is in walking distance. The building is dated and rooms definitely need some improvement, and of course cleanliness of rooms needs to be revisited. It sounded like walls were pretty thin and we could easily hear the next door guests’ conversations. We tried the breakfast once at the hotel, which was really good and the server was very helpful and he provided some useful information.

Respecto a la calidad precio está muy bien ,es un hotel muy tranquilo ,las habitaciones son amplias y sobre todo queríamos un Hotel con estilo del lugar, es antiguo pero muy cuidado, el personal es muy atento y te hablan español. sólo una pega dicen que incluyen el desalluno pero cuál fue la,sorpresa y no estaba incluido.
Buena localizacion muy centrico, limpio, buen sitio para desayunar, piscina muy bonita, la unica pequeña pega el aparato de aire caliente que suena un pelin por la noche y reseca el ambiente, pero se puede dormir. Cama muy comoda y no ruido exterior tranquilo.
