Planned MV trip - realized we booked the wrong dates and got really lucky to find this hotel last minute. I was a little hesitant booking from prior reviews but as soon as we got to our hotel, we were so impressed. The hotel is in the perfect location, walking distance to the beach as well as all local restaurants which is a huge plus, especially on a rainy day. The hotel was super clean, rooms are updated and our room (queen room / bay window? Was spacious). We were so happy with our stay. Jamie and Dallas (manager/front desk) were both so welcoming and accommodated everything we needed from extra towels to even ziploc bags. Hotel is perfect for a little couples getaway. We live in philadelphia so we are used to street noise but the hotel even as sound machines! We could not have asked for a better stay !

We had the best time during our stay at Hotel Ginger! The location of the hotel is perfect, especially for those traveling to Martha's Vineyard without a car. Our room was lovely - nice and cool to escape the July heat and very clean with adorable decor. The staff at Hotel Ginger was also amazing and so friendly! We will definitely be going back!

Hotel Ginger was ok. The rooms and bathrooms had been renovated. Our deck was very nice overlooking the park and the water.
The stairs were steep and small getting to the third floor, and no elevator. So we had to carry our luggage up the awkwardly small, carpeted stairs. It was also pretty noisy at night with people and cars since you are right in the downtown area.
We would not stay there again.

This hotel was excellent! The vibe and the atmosphere of the hotel was so quaint and very befitting of Oak Bluffs. Hotel Ginger is in a great central location that is in walking distance to many of the restaurants and shops, but more importantly it sits across from Inkwell Beach. The views that the hotel offers are great and if you have a moment to sit and enjoy the morning view of the beach, it is totally worth it. The staff and management are so welcoming that they genuinely make this hotel feel like home and if you like wine then Rose` Friday is a must. The rooms are very comfortable and are definitely relaxing and the porch exterior gives you a "welcome home" feel. All in all this is a great hotel!

Just returned from two nights at hotel Ginger and I must say after reading some of these reviews before we left I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel is recently remodeled and reopened and we found our stay to be comfortable, modern, and very enjoyable! The location is amazing right in the heart of everything. We found front desk help available regularly. Sam, one of the gals at the front desk was helpful and kind and offered us lots of suggestions for our stay. We were able to check into our room right off the ferry late morning. We had a lovely balcony off our room which we enjoyed very much! We had a king size bed with wonderful sheets and pillows and a beautiful bathroom all brand new. It was quite humid during our stay and the AC worked without any problem. I think once they work out some of the kinks (need to hang the sign outside) it will be a wonderful addition to accommodations on Oak Bluffs! I wish the new owners the best of luck.
