Ser um convidado aqui no Memento foi INCRÍVEL! Eu vim fora da temporada, então não havia muita ação na área, apesar de eu ter me divertido. É uma das opções mais baratas, mas isso não significa que faça downgrade. O único ponto negativo foi não ter nenhum serviço de internet, o que pode ser bom ou ruim, dependendo do que você procura. Se você conseguir lidar com isso, terá um grande momento.A primeira coisa que as pessoas me perguntam sobre minha experiência aqui é como é a praia? Não posso comentar muito sobre os eventos que estão acontecendo (ouvi dizer que há muitos bares e vida noturna), mas o mar é muito divertido. Eu sou da Califórnia e a água pode ser bem fria até no verão, mas em Ngapali é tão quente que eu poderia ficar na água o dia todo. Você não precisa se preocupar com congelamento, mesmo depois de sair, e isso inclui a noite. É tão úmido que você também não consegue ficar com frio, então isso ajuda muito.O próximo é o local; os quartos são todos bangalôs e estão muito perto do mar que você praticamente na praia. Eu deixava minhas coisas no meu quarto e apenas corria para o mar de manhã, e se eu precisasse de alguma coisa no meu quarto, ficava a apenas alguns metros de distância.Os quartos são ótimos. Quarto amplo com piso de madeira, chuveiro e toalete, além de outros itens pequenos como escova de dente e sabonete. A única coisa era que a iluminação estava um pouco fraca. Eu sentia que estava escuro na maior parte do tempo, provavelmente porque eu estive ao sol o dia todo e provavelmente quase me ceguei. No geral, é um quarto descendente, nada sofisticado como alguns dos outros hotéis, mas é confortável. A noite é o melhor porque depois de ficar cansado de brincar na praia o dia todo você vai dormir com o som das ondas do mar quebrando. Melhor sono que já tive, mãos para baixo.Finalmente, meu favorito era o pessoal. Mesmo que eu não fale birmanês e eles sejam limitados em inglês, eles são tão INCRÍVEIS! Eles limpam seu quarto todos os dias, adicionam novas toalhas limpas todos os dias também. A estadia inclui café da manhã, desejo estava delicioso. Eu tinha arroz frito com um ovo adicionado por cima, panquecas birmanesas, suco de laranja e chá birmanês e algumas frutas. Você também toma café da manhã ao ar livre e só observa as ondas. Quando eu estava lá, eles estavam cortando cocos de suas árvores e dividiram um gigante comigo. Estava uma delícia, foi minha primeira vez experimentando coco de verdade também. Se eu tivesse alguma dúvida eles me ajudariam e sempre foram muito gentis.Eu realmente quero voltar e ficar aqui, foi uma experiência fantástica. Foi um ótimo momento para relaxar, se afastar da tecnologia e apenas aproveitar e se sentir positivo. Pode não ser um resort cinco estrelas, mas tinha todo o conforto que você precisa.

Belo resort ao longo da praia de Ngapali. Provavelmente o resort mais barato ao longo da praia, com quartos que dão acesso direto à praia e muito perto dos bares da praia do pôr do sol. Bom restaurante em um agradável deck na praia. Os quartos são limpos e grandes, com uma pequena varanda com vista para o mar.

A equipe não está ativa e lenta resposta para reclamar. A comida não é boa e precisa ser paciência se você vai falar em inglês. Mas é bom saber o verdadeiro sabor de Rakhine.

4 anos atrás eu vim para apenas 2 noites - 2 dias realmente - e adorei a sua simplicidade. Agora, é mais desenvolvido, mas no caminho certo - uma piscina, e as cabines foram substituídas por quartos muito agradáveis, todos os confortos modernos agora (não havia eletricidade até as 18h e os fãs nas cabines - agora, hotel muito confortável quartos de estilo, mas ainda se sente muito amigável e simples) - paisagismo encantador n plantas. Definitivamente recomendo! A praia de areia com pedras espalhadas é maravilhosa para nadar e as marés subirem 😄

Hace 4 años vine por apenas 2 noches, 2 días en realidad, y me encantó su simplicidad. Ahora, está más desarrollado, pero de la manera correcta: una piscina y las cabañas han sido reemplazadas por habitaciones muy agradables, todas con todas las comodidades ahora (no había electricidad hasta las 6 pm y los fanáticos en las cabinas, ahora, muy cómodo hotel). habitaciones de estilo pero aún así se siente muy amigable y simple) - hermosos jardines y plantas. Definitivamente lo recomiendo! La playa de arena con rocas dispersas es maravillosa para nadar y las mareas suben 😄

4 years ago I came for barely 2 nights - 2 days really - and loved its simplicity. Now, it is more developed, but in the right way - a pool, and the cabins have gone, replaced by very pleasant rooms, all mod cons now (it was no electricity until 6 pm and fans in cabins - now, very comfortable hotel style rooms but it still feels very friendly and simple) - lovely landscaping n plants. Definitely recommend! The sandy beach with scattered rocks is wonderful for swimming and the tides come up high 😄

Staff are not active and slow response for complain. The food is not good and need to be patience if you will speak in English. But good to know the real Rakhine taste.

Being a guest here at Memento was AMAZING! I did come in their off season so there wasn't much action going around the area, regardless I had an amazing time. It is one of the cheaper options, but that does not mean that it downgrades. The only negative was not having any internet service, which can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on what you are looking for. If you can deal without it, then you will have a great time.First thing people ask me about my experience here is how is the beach? I can't comment much about the events going on, (I heard there are lots of bars and nightlife) but the ocean is so much fun. I'm from California and the water can be pretty cold even in the summer, but in Ngapali it is so warm that I could stay in the water all day. You don't have to worry about freezing even after you get out, and this includes the evening time. It is so humid that you really can't get cold either, so that helps a lot.Next is the location; the rooms are all bungalows and they are very close to the ocean that you pretty much right on the beach. I would leave my stuff in my room and just run to the ocean in the mornings, and if I needed anything back in my room it was just a few feet away.The rooms themselves are great. Large room with hardwood floors with a shower, toilet, and they also include other small items like toothbrush and soap. The only thing was the lighting was a little dim. I felt like it was dim most of the time and that was probably because I was out in the sun all day and probably almost blinded myself. Overall, it is a descent room, not anything fancy like some of the other hotels, but it is comfortable. At night is the best because after being tired from playing at the beach all day you go to sleep with the sound of the ocean waves crashing. Best sleep I ever had, hands down.Finally, my favorite was the staff. Even though I don't speak Burmese and they are limited on English they are so AWESOME! They clean your room everyday, add new fresh towels everyday too. The stay includes breakfast, wish was delicious. I had fried rice with an added egg on top, Burmese pancakes, orange juice and Burmese tea and some fruit. You eat breakfast in the open air too and just watch the waves. When I was there, they happened to be cutting down coconuts from their trees and shared one giant one with me. It was delicious, it was my first time trying real coconut too. If I had any questions they would help me out and they were always very kind.I really want to go back again and stay here, it was a fantastic experience. It was a great time to unwind, get away from technology and just enjoy and feel positive. It may not be a five star resort, but it had all the comfort you need.

Beautiful resort along the Ngapali beach. Probably the cheapest resort along the beach with rooms giving direct access to the beach and very close to the sunset beach bars. Good restaurant at a pleasant deck on the beach. Rooms are clean and large with a small balcony overseeing the sea.
